Alain and I started this project in 2020, amid the quiet days of Covid, as a joyful and creative way to breathe new life into our surroundings. What began as a simple experiment soon blossomed into something deeper: the transformation of our land into a serene retreat in the heart of Normandy.
Inspired by the enchanting charm of Hobbit-style living, we created a sanctuary where animals roam freely and guests immerse themselves in a world of nature, tranquility, and magic. By the end of 2020, we completed the first phase of our vision and began welcoming visitors, who have since experienced unforgettable stays in this one-of-a-kind retreat.
As the project has grown, so has our vision. Although our future plans have changed our core goal remains unchanged, to create a sanctuary where nature, tranquility, and simple beauty unite, providing a rare retreat for those who cherish this enchanting place.
